The Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Captain Chris Najomo, has provided an overview of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority’s mandate, regulatory framework, and its role in ensuring safety, security, and efficiency in the aviation sector.
Captain Chris Najomo on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, highlighted this while receiving the newly redeployed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Mahmud Adam Kambari, at the NCAA Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
He also highlighted key achievements, including progress in safety oversight, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
Speaking, Mr. Mahmud Adam Kambari emphasised collaboration, capacity building, and alignment with national aviation objectives and commended the DGCA and management for their achievements and reaffirmed the ministry’s support for robust oversight.
