NPA assures NLNG unhindered gas export

The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, has assured Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited of NPA’s unwavering support for increased gas export.

Dr. Dantsoho said the support is imbued by the mandate of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola for the NPA to support the increased export orientation of the Federal Government.

The NPA MD gave the assurance during the visit of the CEO of Nigerian Liquiefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited, Dr. Phillip Mshelbila, to NPA headquarters in Lagos on Monday 20th January, 2025.

“Nigeria LNG (NLNG) has played a key role in Nigeria’s economic development and export growth since inception. We will grow this partnership,” he said.

Speaking, Dr. Dr. Phillip Mshelbila expressed Nigeria LNG’s appreciation for NPA’s continued support and solicited increased synergy as NLNG Limited is expanding its LNG production capacity to take advantage of increased global demand.
