ANLCA President introduces new Tin Can Chapter Executive, commends Comptroller Onyeka for streamlined alerts

The National President of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Sir Emenike Nwokoeji, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, introduced the new executive members of Tin Can Chapter, led by Olawale Cole as Chairman, to the Customs Area Controller of Tin Can Island Port Command, Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Frank Onyeka and port stakeholders.
Performing the introduction at the conference room of the command in the port, Sir Nwokoeji thanked Comptroller Frank Onyeka for his magnanimity in ensuring that the synergy existing between both ANLCA and the Command is subsisting and waxing stronger.
He further thanked Comptroller Onyeka for streamlining the alerts to the admiration of members of ANLCA.
Responding, the Controller thanked members of ANLCA for assisting him raising the revenue targets of the command and to sustain it beyond expectations.
Onyeka noted that his office is open for collaboration and welcome feedbacks that would help the Service to achieve trade facilitation and revenu target.
The ANLCA National President thereafter visited the secretariat of the chapter and charged all members to always ensure that their operational challenges are passed on to the executives for solutions.

He also admonished the chapter executives to ensure that all members, irrespective of their divide during voting, must be carried along in everything they do.
In admiration of the health center and sick bay established by the chapter and general renovation of the secretariat, Nwokoeji commended the Cole-led administration and promised to replicate same at the national level.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman, Olawale Cole, who took the National President round the renovated secretariat, said he and his executive members were fully prepared for the job and would ensure that all members and stakeholders in the chapter, who are important, are carried along.
According to him, “It is a job we are fully prepared for. All stakeholders are very important and we can’t achieve without their support. I have been consulting with our past leaders and whatever you see today is a joint effort and the result of the consultation.
“All of us are one. We are going to work together to make progress. But we need people with vision who can contribute and we shall all be victorious.”
On various operational challenges, he called out some phone numbers and charged members to send their complaints to the phone numbers, giving an assurance that their problems will be attended to.
He promised to work with other sister associations. “We want to achieve a new Tin Can by working with other sister associations,” said he.
