Nigeria and Egypt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost air transport between the two countries.
Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, disclosed this development on his X account.
According to the minister, This afternoon (Monday July 21, 2025), I received Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdellatty, in Abuja. The purpose of the meeting was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both countries which we did.
“The agreement was conceived during the International Civil Aviation Negotiations Conference in 2024. It represents a strategic milestone in our bilateral cooperation, focusing on technical exchange, route expansion, and investment in aviation infrastructure.
