CSR: Nigerian Shippers’ Council empowers Ilara-Epe residents

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has donated empowerment equipment to some residents of Ilara-Epe, Lagos State to boost livelihoods and improve community services.

Items donated included sewing machines for small-scale fashion businesses, hair dryers for beauty services, 2 sets of 6.2kva generators to support electricity supply, Local grinding machines to aid food processing.

The Council donated the equipment under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project while demonstrating the spirit of giving back to the society.

Mr. Abere Moses, Acting Director Special Duties, donated the items on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Council, Dr. Akutah Pius.

The items were received on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Olufolarin  Olukayode Ogunsanwo (JP), FCTI, FNIM (Telade IV), the Alara of Ilara Kingdom at his palace.

The NSC has a long-standing tradition of supporting communities in areas where it operates.

Its donation to the Ilara-Epe community is a testament to its commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians.
