Lagos Industrial Customs Command to train officers, engage stakeholders on B’Odogwu – Comptroller Salawu

The new Customs Area Controller of Lagos Industrial Area Command, Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Adebola Salawu, has pointed out that her administration would embark on an in-house training for all officers and stakeholders engagement on the Unified Customs Management System (B’Odogwu) to enhance excise performance towards the economic growth of the nation.

Comptroller Salawu stated this while taking over the leadership of the command from Comptroller Sarah Mamza Wadinda retired on Monday 8 September 2025 at the Command office in Festac Town, Lagos.

She commended the good work of her predecessor and wished her success in her future endeavors, calling all officers to extend the same hands of cooperation to her.

Speaking earlier, Comptroller Wadinda (Rtd) expressed profound gratitude to the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR for the confidence reposed in her to serve at the Lagos Industrial Area Command.

She further enjoined all officers to give maximum cooperation to her successor for continuous trade facilitation towards an enhanced revenue collection.
