The Director General of Civil Aviation, NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo, mads this commitment during a visit by a delegation from NIHOTOUR, led by its Director General, Dr. Fagade Abisoye, to Captain Najomo in Abuja.

Najomo pledged a smooth partnership, proposing the formation of a committee to review the Acts and regulations governing both agencies.

This initiative aims to clarify and streamline their respective roles to avoid conflicts.

In response, Dr. Abisoye emphasized the importance of this collaboration in strengthening the regulatory framework for the tourism sector. He expressed hope that the two agencies could formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to prevent role encroachment.

Both parties agreed to establish a committee tasked with this objective, with a three-month deadline to submit its findings to the agencies.
