The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has formally issued an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to 3 Horizons Limited, authorizing its entry into the aviation sector as a charter operator.
While presenting the AOC to 3 Horizon on Wednesday, 17th September, 2025, in Abuja, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Captain Chris Najomo, congratulated the airline and urged them to uphold the highest operational and safety standards.
The DGCA said the issuance of the AOC to 3 Horizons is a clear demonstration that Nigeria’s aviation sector remains open, dynamic, and driven by safety.
The DGCA further reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to active surveillance, noting that the NCAA will continuously monitor all certified operators to ensure unwavering adherence to safety protocols, safeguard passenger welfare, and preserve the industry’s overall credibility.
Responding, the company’s Director of Operations and Chief Pilot, Captain Sanni Mohammed Shehu, thanked the DGCA and the certification team for their support, committing the airline to uphold terms and conditions of the AOC.
