ACI-Africa Secretary-General assesses Nigeria’s preparations for regional conference in 2026

The Secretary-General of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa, Mr. Ali Tounsi, has assessed Nigeria’s level of preparedness to host the ACI-Africa Regional Conference & Exhibition scheduled for October 2026.

During his official visit to Nigeria, Secretary-General of ACI Africa, Mr. Ali Tounsi, in company of the Managing Director/CE of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, visited the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

Accompanied by Mrs Olubunmi Kuku; the Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection, Mr. Henry Agbebire; the Director of Commercial and Business Development, Ms. Adebola Agunbiade, Mr. Tousi held discussions with members of the Local Organising Committee.

The discussions focused on Nigeria’s readiness, infrastructure plans, and the collaborative efforts required to deliver a world-class conference.

The engagement reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to hosting a highly successful and impactful ACI-Africa event in 2026.
