FAAN debunks online Aviation Security recruitment exercise

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has stated that it is not recruiting Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel as being circulated online.

In a statement, Mr. Henry Agbebire, Director of Public Relations and Consumer Protection of FAAN, warned the public the purported recruitment is fake.

The statement reads thus: The attention of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has been drawn to a recruitment advertisement circulating online, claiming that Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel are being recruited through a link purportedly associated with FAAN.

We wish to categorically state that FAAN is not conducting any AVSEC recruitment at this time. The advertisement in circulation, including the link attached to it, is fake, misleading, and has no connection whatsoever with FAAN.

The public is hereby advised to disregard the message and refrain from engaging with the link. Do not provide personal information to unknown sources, remain vigilant and report susfpicious messages or links to the appropriate authorities.
