NCAA, ICPC synergise to combat corrupt practices in aviation industry
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) have resolved working together to combat corruption in the aviation sector with a view to enhance service delivery.
The Director General of the NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo, and the Chairman of the ICPC, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN,
made the resolution during a courtesy visit of Najomo to the Commission’s headquarters today, 28th July 2025.
The high-level engagement between the two leaders focused on inter-agency collaboration to combat corruption in the aviation sector and enhance service delivery.
In a related development, the NCAA held an interactive session with airline station managers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on the effective implementation of Passengers First Need Compensation and other key consumer protection issues.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Michael Achimugu, led the NCAA in the session.
