Algeria begins flight to Nigeria April 6

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has presented a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit (FCOP) to Air Algérie, the national airline of Algeria.

Following the presentation of FCOP, Air Algérie will begin its inaugural flight to Nigeria on route Algeria-Nigeria-Douala, Cameroon on the 6th of April 2025, signifying a new era of strengthened ties and improved air travel between Nigeria and Algeria.

This development was a key highlight of the meeting between the Director General of NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo, and His Excellency Mr. Hocine Mezoued, the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on 25th of March 2025.

Their meeting also focused on enhanced bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector.
