In preparations for the commencement of the 2025/2026 Recruitment Training, the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, on Saturday, 29 August 2026, inspected the Customs Training College, Goron Dutse, Kano.
The CGC assessed the College’s facilities, ongoing projects, logistics, and general readiness to accommodate the incoming recruits.
Speaking during the inspection, Adeniyi reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to providing the necessary facilities, logistics, and conducive environment required for the effective training and capacity development of the new recruits.
He stressed the importance of ensuring that the College is adequately equipped to deliver professional and effective basic training that would prepare the recruits for their responsibilities within the NCS.
In his remarks, the Commandant of the college, Comptroller of Customs Umar Atiku, briefed the CGC on the college’s activities, ongoing developments, and preparations underway to receive the incoming recruits.
