Following complaints of chronic flight delays and cancellations by the travelling public, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has charged Air Peace to immediately improve its domestic operations.
Air Peace is also advised to trim its operations to the size of available aircraft presently in its fleet.
The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Chris Najomo, gave the charge at a meeting with the management of Air Peace over the development in Abuja today Friday, May 2, 2025 .
The airline, according to NCAA, acknowledged that it has some challenges that are not unusual in the industry, but they are working round the clock to fix same.
The DGCA asserted that, while the NCAA will continue to support the airlines, the operators MUST comply with the regulations and global best practices.
Najomo warned that the NCAA is increasing its monitoring of flight operations.
