Frank Onyeka’s promotion as ACG well deserved – CCC

The Customs Consultative Committee (CCC) has described the elevation of the immediate past Customs Area Controller of Tin Can Island Port Command, Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Frank Onyeka, to the rank of Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG) as a recognition of professional excellence, dedication and integrity.

In a congratulatory message to ACG Frank Onyeka by the CCC, the CCC Secretary, Fwdr. Eugene Nweke, Rff, said he had known Onyeka over three decades and his elevation to this prestigious position was not a surprise to him and the Committee.

The CCC Scribe pointed out that Onyeka’s remarkable stewardship at the Nigeria Customs Service Tincan Island Port Command, culminated in the historic generation of over ₦1.6 trillion revenue alongside notable anti-smuggling breakthroughs and impactful operational reforms, stands as a practical testament to visionary leadership, administrative discipline and strategic intelligence.

“On behalf of the Customs Consultative Committee (CCC), and in my personal capacity as a long-standing friend and associate of over three decades, I, Fwdr. Eugene Nweke, Rff, heartily extend profound congratulations and deserving commendations to Franklin Onyeka on his well-earned promotion to the prestigious rank of Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG) of the Nigeria Customs Service.
