BOAN presents operational report to Nigerian Shippers’ Council

The Barge Operators Association of Nigeria (BOAN) has submitted the Barge Operational Challenges Reports to the management of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council in Lagos today.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, had directed the management of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council to meet with barge operators and address their operational challenges.

The report was submitted by the BOAN President, Honourable Olubunmi Olumekun, to Mrs Margaret Ogbonna, Director of Port Operations, who received it on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Pius Akutah.

The report was prepared in partnership with the Sea Empowerment and Research Center, SEREC.
