Ekiti State installs retired Customs officer, Ajiboye, as Elemure of Emure Ekiti

Ekiti State Government has crowned a retired customs officer, James Batunde Ajiboye, as Elemure of Emure Ekiti.

His Royal Majesty, Oba James Batunde Ajiboye; Otutubiosun 1, Ajigbotuulu, Elemure of Emure, has joined the list of retired customs officers who are now traditional rulers in their various towns.

One of such is a retired Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Imra Ayodeji Akintola; now His Royal Majesty, Alua of Erin – Oke Kingdom in Ijesha Land of Osun State.

Before his retirement, Oba Ajiboye served at FOU ‘A’, PTML, Ibadan, Seme, Apapa, Maiduguri and several other Customs formations across Nigeria.

Assistant Comptroller of Customs Olabode Faleyimu, an indigene of Emure Ekiti, shared the news and expressed optimism that Emure Ekiti would witness progress and development during the reign of Oba Ajiboye

Faleyimu, who is currently serving as the Officer -in- Charge of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A at Ondo/Ekiti, said the emergence of Oba Ajiboye is devine and wished the Kabiyesi a successful tenure of office.
