FAAN appreciates Soname’s contributions to air travel in Nigeria

The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, has heaped praise on the founder of ValueJet, Mr. Kunle Soname, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as a trailblazer whose contributions to Nigeria’s aviation sector have left an indelible mark.

In a message to Mr..Kunle Soname, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku said through the establishment of ValueJet, one of the country’s leading private airlines, Soname demonstrated uncommon courage, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

“Mr. Kunle Soname is not just a businessman; he is a visionary who saw what many could not and dared to venture where others hesitated. His journey in aviation reflects the very spirit of enterprise that Nigeria celebrates. At FAAN, we are proud to have his airline as a trusted partner in our collective mission to elevate air travel standards across the nation,” the press release stated.
