The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) have restated their commitment to sustained dialogue, cooperation, and the continuous advancement of the Nigerian aviation sector.
Both FAAN and ATSSSAN restated this when the new ATSSSAN President, Mr. John Ogbe, and his executive paid a courtesy visit to the FAAN Managing Director/CE, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, at the FAAN headquarters at Ikeja, Lagos on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Speaking, Mr. John Ogbe said the essence of the visit was to express the profound appreciation of the association to the FAAN boss for her continuous support and commitment to the welfare and growth of the Union and her members.
ATSSSAN President commended the leadership style of Kuku, which, he noted, has continued to foster mutual respect, trust, and effective collaboration between management and organised labour.
Speaking, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku charged the new ATSSSAN leadership to lead the Union with dignity, fairness, and equity in the overall interest of members and the aviation industry.
She reaffirmed FAAN Management’s readiness to sustain a cordial and productive working relationship with ATSSSAN.
