MWUN inaugurates ABTL Dockworkers Unit executives

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) and its Dockworkers Branch have inaugurated a unit at Apapa Bulk Terminal Terminal (ABTL), in Apapa, Lagos.

The inauguration, done at the Union’s National Secretariat at Oshodi Drive, Olori Apapa, was witnessed by the leadership of the Union and members of the Seafarers’ branch at ABTL.

The elected executives of the new unit are Comrades Adebayo Ayodele – Chairman; Chibuzor Uruakpa – Vice Chairman; Ganiyu Olumuyiwa – Secretary; and Sunday John is Assistant Secretary.

Others are Comrades Samuel O. Bassey – Treasurer; Destiny Oliseh – Organizing Secretary; Chigozie Nwabani – Assistant Organizing Secretary; and Chukwudi Obialor as ex-officio.

The MWUN leadership admonished the Unit executives to always exhibit good behavior and must be up and doing at all times, urging them protest the image of the Union in all their activities.
