MWUN mourns passage of Deputy President-General

The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has mourned the passage of its Deputy President General (DPG) under the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) branch, Comrade Taofeek Dabiri.

In a statement announcing the death, the MWUN President-General, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, said the death of Comrade Taofeek Dabiri was a big loss to the Union, describing the deceased as a man of honour, who would always respond to his beck and call at any given time.

The MWUN PG further said of Dabiri as a “Good Man”, whose exemplary life that cuts across borders will be very difficult to erase from his memories and of the entire Maritime Workers’ Union officers and members even in the years to come.

“Comrade Dabiri will continue to remain ever-green in our memories as the Union carries out its daily activities,” said the President General, seeking Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah while preserving his immediate family.
