The President-General (PG) of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi has promised to strengthen the tripartite haulage body comprising MWUN, NARTO and AMATO for a better performance.
The President-General mads the promise when the leadership of the haulage body paid him a courtesy visit at the Union Secretariat in Olodi, Apapa, Lagos.
The PG also thanked the executives of Silo Cargo Truck Owners who were also part of the visit and promised his maximum support in all their operations across the nation.
The executives of the haulage body used the occasion to congratulate Comrade Francis Bunu Abi on his election victory as the President-General of the Union and prayed that his tenure as PG of MWUN would be successful and peaceful in all areas of the Union’s operations across the country.
The haulage body also highlighted on areas of challenges and prayed the President-General to lend his wealth of experience to the collaboration on all the areas of its haulage operations across the nation’s seaports for effective, efficient and seamless operational outputs.
The visit was its first since Comrade Bunu assumed the leadership of the foremost maritime union in the country.
