MWUN President General commends Comet Shipping over peaceful workplace

The President General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi has commended Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Ltd for its commitment to maintaining a peaceful and progressive workplace.

Comrade Francis Bunu Abi gave the commendation during a working visit to the management of Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Limited at its headquarters in Apapa, Lagos .

The MWUN President General and his executives were received by the Group Managing Director of NAL-Comet Group, Mr. Rigo Nazzari.

Comrade Bunu Abi pledged that the Union is open to cooperation, dialogue, and shared progress across the maritime industry.

According to him, “Today (Friday, October 17, 2025), I had a productive meeting with the management of Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Ltd to strengthen our partnership and promote industrial harmony within the maritime sector.

“I commend the management team of Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Limited led by Mr. Rigo Nazzari as Group Managing Director; Mr. Jaysing Kamthe, Mr. Andrew Grayson, and Mr. Augustine Osiughwu for their commitment to maintaining a peaceful and progressive workplace.
