Chairman, Board of Directors, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc, Dr. Seinde Fadeni, says NAHCO would continue to invest more in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to enhance service delivery.
Fadeni stated this while commissioning some brand-new Ground Support Equipment (GSEs) recently acquired by the company at the Cargo Ramp of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
While speaking, the Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, Dr. Sola Obabori, said the new equipment would boost customer confidence in the quality and reliability of NAHCO’s services.
He also noted that more equipment would be received by the company in the coming months, with the goal of creating a very and extensive fleet for the company.
According to him, the commissioning was part of a series of events for NAHCO’s GSE fleet renewal, similar to a previous commissioning ceremony held by the company last year.
The Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Didier Steullet, highlighted that this acquisition represents a substantial investment of millions of dollars, describing the purchase as a clear sign that the company is prioritizing long-term service quality.
He also noted that this acquisition process has been ongoing for some time and is a direct result of the visionary leadership of the board’s chairman.
