NCAA applauds reelection of Nigeria’s representative into ICAO Council

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has applauded the reelection of Nigeria’s representative, Engr. Mahmoud Ben Tukur, on his re-election into the Part II of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council.

Engr. Mahmoud Ben-Tukur, a seasoned aviation professional and former General Manager of Airworthiness Standards at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), retained his seat following an election held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the 42nd ICAO Assembly in Montreal, Canada.

With this victory, according to NCAA, Nigeria will continue to serve on the 36-member ICAO Council for another three-year term, alongside Egypt, South Africa, India, Spain, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland.
