NCAA urges drone operators to comply with Customs rules

The Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Chris Najomo says drones play a vital role in the growth of the national economy but must be operated lawfully.

In view of this, Captain Chris Najomo counselled operators to declare all their drones to the Nigeria Customs Service on arrival.

He also advised them to obtain security clearance from the Office of the National Security Adviser and get proper authorization from the NCAA.

The NCAA boss said the declaration is very important to avoid seizure by the Customs.

According to Captain Chris Najomo, “drones drive our economy forward. But must be operated lawfully.”
