APM Terminals Apapa says it recently hosted the Senate Committee on Marine Transport and House Of Representatives Committee on Ports and Harbours.

APM Terminals said the delegation visited its facility to assess the progress of the terminal in line with the terms of our concession agreement.

The terminals noted that the legislators were particularly impressed with “our CSR initiatives specifically on education and plastic waste recycling in the Apapa community, our commitment to gender inclusion in management, and our ongoing efforts to develop Nigerian leadership in the terminal by gradually transitioning roles from expatriates to indigenous employees.

“The committee also expressed their willingness to support our growth through enabling policies and laws within the maritime sector. Proud to showcase our dedication to sustainable development, inclusion, and national capacity building.”
