Tinubu appoints Opeifa Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr Kayode Opeifa as the Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation.

He took over from Ben Iloanusi who acted as Managing Director after the exit of former Managing Director, Fidet Okhiria on October 18, 2024 after completing his second four- year tenure.

The new Managing Director, Dr. Kayode Opeifa, was the  former Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation and a renowned transport management expert.

Opeifa had served as the Vice Chairman, Presidential Task Team (PPT) of the Apapa Traffic Gridlock Committee.
