Winners emerge in NAHCO’s schools debate
Winners have emerged in the schools debate championship sponsored by Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (nahco aviance). The sponsorship demonstrates its commitment to enhanced corporate social responsibility.
The final of the competition, which held at Owoseni Primary School, Oshodi, Lagos, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, was witnessed by the Executive Chairman of the Oshodi Isolo Local Government, Lagos State, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof and his team.
The championship, themed “Inspiring Young Voices, Building Tomorrow,” provided a platform for primary school students in the Local Government to sharpen their oratory skills. It also provided an opportunity for the students to cultivate a spirit of healthy rivalry, boost public speaking confidence, and offer enriching experiences beyond their traditional classroom settings.
After a series of captivating presentations by students who argued for and against the motion, “Which is best for leaders: a single seven-year term or two four-year terms?”, the winners were announced. Mafoluku Primary School emerged as the overall champion, claiming first place; State Primary School, Oshodi, took second; Oshodi Model Primary School secured third place and Larinde Primary School came fourth.
The AGM, Corporate Communications, NAHCO Plc, Mr. Tayo Ajakaye, who represented the GMD/CEO, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun at the event emphasized the Company’s commitment to impactful social interventions in the life of its host communities.
NAHCO has consistently supported its host communities through a broad spectrum of strategic CSR initiatives, proving that its leadership extends far beyond the tarmac.
