KLT Customs charged to sustain synergy with stakeholders

Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG) OC Orbih, Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’, has charged the management of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Command, Nigeria Customs Service, to sustain synergy with its stakeholders and ensure diligence amongst its officers.

ACG Orbih gave the charge during his first official visit to the KLT Command in Lagos on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

The Customs boss encouraged officers to maintain a high level of professionalism and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve the Command’s objectives.

Orbih assured the officers of the command that he would escalate the challenges facing the command to the Headquarters, ensuring that their concerns are addressed.

He also pledged to play his role in supporting the command, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating trade within the zone.

Earlier in her remarks, the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller EJ Edelduok, presented a report highlighting the command’s achievements since she assumed leadership, saying that the report underscored the command’s efforts in revenue generation and trade facilitation.

This visit has confirmed ACG Orbih’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, ultimately contributing to the Nigeria Customs Service’s strategic objectives.
