ANLCA Vice President receives Most Outstanding Customs Broker of the Year Award

The Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) and Managing Director/CEO of Settle Systems Nigeria Limited, Prince Segun Oduntan, has received the award of the Most Outstanding Customs Broker of the Year 2024.

The honour was bestowed on him by the Maritime Industry Merit Award (MIMA) organised by Maritime Media Limited, Publishers of the Shipping World Magazine at Oriental Hotel in Lagos on Tuesday 15th April, 2025.

The organiser said the award was presented to Prince Segun Oduntan in recognition of his professional excellence and contributions to the growth of the nation’s maritime industry.

The award recipient, Prince Segun Oduntan, said the award gladdened his heart and dedicated the award to management and staff of Settle Systems and the entire members of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).

He noted that it would spur him further to contribute to the development and growth of the industry and the national economy of the country.

In solidarity with Prince Oduntan, the event was attended the ANLCA National President, Emenike Nwokeoji, ANLCA Board members including Demola Mumuney and Dayo Azeez, ANLCA Patron, Prince Taiye Oyeniyi, Chief Oye Ariyo, National Executive Committee (NECOM) members, chapter Chairmen and Executives and a whole lot of other dignitaries graced the occasion.

To add a royal touch to the occasion in honour of Oduntan, royal fathers such as Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Semiudeed Orimadegun Kasali, His Royal Majesty Oba Sejiro James of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry, among others, attended the ceremony.

Prince Segun Oduntan is a renowned and accomplished practitioner in the freight forwarding, logistics and shipping industry.

He studied Mass Communication at the University of Nsukka. A fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping, Prince Oduntan holds numerous honorary awards in the shipping and freight industry in Nigeria.
