Advanced International Merchants boss honoured

Astute business man, freight forwarder and industrialist, Mr. Cyprain Nwankwo, has been honoured by PortNews with the Port Landmark Award for exceptional contributions to the growth of the freight forwarding industry and the Nigerian economy.

Mr. Cyprain Nwankwo has spent about three decades growing Advanced International Merchants into a business empire with impacts in shipping, freight forwarding, customs consultancy, haulage, container terminals management, warehousing, filtration and CO2 production, agriculture, international merchandise and marketing.

Advanced International Merchants is located on the Sagamu precinct of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway. It is a haven for multinational and blue chip companies that parades over twenty fully furnished and equipped warehouses, open terraces for export stuffing, container terminal for imports and container terminal for exports. The terminal also boasts a park with space for hundreds of trucks and has been officially designated by the Nigerian Ports Authority as an Export Processing Terminal (EPT).

An unassuming person and a philanthropist, Mr. Cyprain Nwankwo has impacted positively the lives of countless numbers of less privileged people and his immediate surroundings.
