FG directs cargo airlines to submit manifests through National Single Window

The Federal Government of Nigeria has directed all cargo airlines operating in the country to submit their manifests through the National Single Window (NSW), a digital trade platform.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) disclosed this in a statement on X, noting that the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, gave the directive.

In a preparation for this, the Directorate of Cargo Development and Services of FAAN, in collaboration with the National Single Window(NSW), engaged with key stakeholders ahead of the official launch of the digital trade platform in March 2026.

To facilitate a seamless transition, FAAN informed that a series of training sessions would be conducted ahead of the rollout to ensure smooth adoption and effective utilisation of the system.
