Godfrey Bivbere bags NMMA Best Maritime Reporter of the Year

Mr. Godfrey Bivbere has emerged the Best Maritime Reporter of the Year at the 2026 edition of the Nigerian Maritime Merit Awards (NMMA).

According to the NMMA, Godfrey Bivbere secured 42 per cent of the 2,403 responses. He was closely followed by Oluwakemi Dauda with 31.1 per cent, while Shulammite Olowofoyeku garnered 26.9 per cent.

The NMMA awards presentation will be done on March 30, 2026.  NMMA is instituted to spotlight and  honour excellence in the maritime sector.
