Najomo receives Public Service Leadership Award

Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Chris Najomo has received the Public Service Leadership Award from the Democracy Newsline Newspaper.

The award presentation event, held on the 4th September, 2025 at the Authority’s headquarters in Abuja, is in recognition of Captain Najomo’s contributions to public service and the aviation sector.

While expressing appreciation for the award, the DGCA remarked that the award reflects the collective effort of the Authority’s directors and staff.

He, however, promised that the NCAA will not rest on its oars in strengthening compliance to ensure safety and passenger-friendly air transport in Nigeria.
