Zarmmak Bonded Terminal rewards dedicated staff and loyal clients

It was all colour, glitz and glamour on Friday, 18th December, 2025 as Zarmmak Bonded  Terminal marked its annual End of the Year Thanksgiving and Award Presentations ceremony.

The event, which came up in the expansive Zarmmak Bonded Terminal, will linger in the memories of the teeming but resplendent guests.

The hallmark of the event was the presentation of merit awards to deserving staff for various salutary efforts and contributions that have impacted the five year old organization meaningfully.

In his welcome address, the Managing Director of Zarmmak Bonded Terminal, Barrister Caleb Muoka, noted that, even though the terminal had passed through trying times, it has triumphed and become a success story today because its very foundation was planted on a Christ-ordained pedestal.

He said he was mocked when things became rough but today, Christ Redeemer, has given him and his team victory. He was appreciative of the efforts and loyalty of Zarmmak staff who kept hooe and faith even in difficult difficult periods. He also thanked officers of the Nigeria Customs Service and other allied organizations operating in the terminal. “I would like to specifically acknowledge and sincerely thank our Customs officers including the DC, RO, SO, CIU team leads, Valuation and Enforcement units as well as other Federal Government agencies, regulatory bodies and parastatals, the Nigeria Police Force, our valued  customers and clients, and every member of staff. Your professionalism, cooperation and dedication are the backbone of our success and we truly appreciate your partnership,” Muoka noted.

Among those who received awards were Mr. Precious Obinwanne who got the enviable Staff of the Year Award, Mr. Samson Igwe received the award of Most Punctual Staff;  Health and Safety Award went to Mr Festus Akagha. The Most Rising Star Award was given to Mr. Chiamaka Famous Patrick. Proactive Award was given to Mr. MacNorris. Strategic Partnership Award was given to a respected freight forwarder and licensed customs agent, Mr. Taiwo Adebanjo, of Frontline Logistics.
Zarmmak Bonded Terminal, located strategically off Coker Bus Stop on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway has redefined off-dock container management with an acquisition and deployment of six reachstakers and a plethora of forklifts and cargo handlers serviced by over a hundred trucks. This has endeared the terminal to licensed customs agents and importers alike.

Its newly built groupage warehouse can accommodate more than a thousand tonnes including reefer cargoes.
